RESOLUTION NO. 2 905
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY
PURPOSES
WHEREAS, the City Coouncil of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for public purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public
utility purposes and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of Richard G. Mitchell and
Marguerite E. Mitchell, husband and wife,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real prop-
erty situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of
California, to be used for road andpublic utility purposes
and more particularly described as
An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under,
along, across and through the North 25.25 feet of the following
described parcel:
That portion of Lots 4 and 5 of Anaheim Extension in the City
of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, as shown on
a map by William Hamel on file in the Office of the County
Recorder of Los Angeles County, California., described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the center line of Center Street as shown
on said map of Anaheim Extension distant thereon 760.13 feet
Easterly from the center line of East Street as shown on said map
and running thence Northerly parallel with said center line of
East Street 50.00 feet to a point on a line parallel with and
distant Northerly 50.00 feet measured at right angles from the
center line of said. Center Street; thence Easterly along said
parallel line 358.27 feet to the Easterly line of the land de-
scribed in Parcel 2 in the deed_ conveying said land to Richard
G. Mitchell and wife filed January 25, 1945 as Document #12188
in the Office of the Registrar of Titles of said Orange County;
thence Southerly along said. Easterly line 50.00 feet to the
center line of said Center Street; thence Westerly along said
center line 358.27 feet to the point of beginning.
SUBJECT to covenants, conditions, reservations, restrictions,
rights, rights of way and easements, if any, of record.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Treasurer of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owners of said real property, out of General Funds of the City
of Anaheim, the sum of One and no /100 Dollars $1.00).
