RESOLUTION NO. 2868
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 2867,
ENTITLED "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING
THAT A CHANGE OF ZONE SHOULD NOT BE GRANTED IN
A CERTAIN AREA OF THE CITY HEREINAFTER DE-
SCRIBED."
WHEREAS, heretofore, to wit, on the 26th day of
July, 1955, the City Council did adopt Resolution No. 2867
finding and determining that a change of zone should not
be granted in a certain area of the City described as:
The South 25 acres of the Southeast Quarter
of the Southeast Quarter of Section 18,
Township L. South, Range 10 West, as per
deed recorded in Book 2735 180 0.R.0.C.
(Said property is located at the Northwest
Corner of Ball Road and Brookhurst Street).
and that said property should remain in the R -A, RESIDENTIAL
AGRICULTURAL ZONE in which it is now incorporated, and the
proposed reclassification to C -1, NEIGHBORHOOD COMMERCIAL
ZONE, as recommended by the City Planning Commission in its
Resolution No. 191 Series 1954 -55, should be denied; and
WHEREAS, upon further consideration the City Council
does find that said Resolution No. 2867 denying said change
of zone in the area hereinabove described, should be re-
scinded, and said proposed change given further consideration
with a view to granting the same by variance permit.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that Resolution No. 2867, entitled
"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT A CHANGE OF ZONE SHOULD NOT BE
GRANTED IN A CERTAIN AREA OF THE CITY HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED,"
be, and the same is hereby, rescinded.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by
me this 26th day of July, 1955.
