A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE DEPUTY CITY TREASURER,
AS WELL AS THE CITY CLERK, THE CITY TREASURER
AND THE DEPUTY CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE CHECKS AND
OTHER PAPERS AND DOCUMENTS FOR AND ON BEHALF OF
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM IN CONNECTION WITH `CIE METER
DEPOSIT TRUST FUND ACCOUNT, AND RESCINDING
RESOLUTIONS NOS. 2625 AND 2511.
WHEREAS, heretofore, to wit, on the loth day of
August, 1954, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did
adopt Resolution No. 2498 finding and determining that con-
venience and necessity in the handling of the Meter Deposit
Trust Fund Account, among others, required the deposit of
certain funds of the City in the Security -First National Bank
of Los Anele s (Anaheim Branch) and
WHEREAS, the City Council did further find that the
City Clerk and City Treasurer of the City of Anaheim should
be authorized to execute checks and other items for and on be-
half of the City in connection with said account; and
WHEREAS, upon further consideration the City Council
finds that it will be more convenient and greater efficiency
can be had by authorizing the Deputy City Clerk as well as the
City Clerk, and the Deputy City Treasurer as well as the City
Treasurer to execute checks and other papers and documents for
and on behalf of the City, in connection with the Meter Deposit
Trust Fund Account.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that, until such authority is revoked by
sealed notification to said Security -First National Bank of
Los Angeles (Anaheim Branch) of such action by the City Council,
DENE M. WILLIAMS, City Clerk, and /or RUTH DAOUST, Deputy City
Clerk, and A. G. TUMA, City Treasurer, and /or MAY BELLE E.
SPENCER, Deputy City Treasurer, be, and they are hereby,
authorized to execute checks and other papers and documents
on behalf of the City of Anaheim in connection with the Meter
Deposit Trust Fund Account of the City; and that all such
checks, papers and documents shall be executed by any two of
the above named persons, one of whom shall be from the City
Clerk's Office and one of whom shall be from the City Treasurer's
Office.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Anaheim hereby
agrees to the conditions printed in the Pass Book issued in con-
nection with its account with the Security -First National Bank
of Los Angeles, and to the by -laws and rules of said Bank as to
all deposits and withdrawals made on said account, and as to
other transactions with said Bank.
RESOLUTION No. 2625, approved January 25, 1955, and
Resolution No. 2511, approved August 19, 195L1, are hereby re-
scinded.
