1955-2833WHEREAS, Electric and Machinery Service, Inc. has
submitted to the City of Anaheim the lowest responsible bid for
the sale and installation of traffic signals at the intersection
of Manchester Avenue and Euclid Avenue and at the intersection
of Manchester Avenue and Ball Road; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim has
heretofore accepted the bid of said Electric and Machinery, Inc.,
and said company has presented a contract for said purchase and
installation to the City Council of the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, said contract as submitted is satisfactory in
all respects and the City Council finds that it is in the best
interest of the City to enter into such a contract with Electric
and Machinery, Inc.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that it approve and authorize, and it does
hereby approve and authorize, the execution of said agreement
between the City of Anaheim and Electric and Machinery, Inc; and
the Mayor and City Clerk, respectively, are authorized and directed
to execute said contract on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 1st day of July, 1955.
