A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A DEED QUITCLAIMING TO
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR
STREET IMPROVEMENT PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
is desirous of acquiring the hereinafter described real
property for public purposes, to wit, for street improvement
purposes; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
finds that it is for the benefit and best interest of the
City of Anaheim to accept a Quitclaim Deed for said real
property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the offer of THE BROADWAY -SANTA
ANA CO., a Limited Partnership, and C. FRED SMITH, an Indivi-
dual, to quitclaim to the City of Anaheim the following de-
scribed real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, State of California, to be used for street improve-
ment purposes, and more particularly described as follows:
All those portions of Lots 8, 9 and 10 of Anaheim
Extension, in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California as shown on a map of survey by
William Hamel and filed in the Office of the Re-
corder of Los Angeles County, California, a copy of
which is recorded in Book 3, Page 163 et. seq.,
entitled "Los Angeles County Maps," records of said
Orange County, lying Northerly of the Northerly
boundary of Tract 1770, as per map thereof recorded
in Book 59, Pages 7 to 10, inclusive, of Miscel-
laneous Maps, Records of said Orange County,
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a
Quitclaim Deed for said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Treasurer of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owners of said real property, out of General Funds of the City
of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar (41.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by
me this 28th day of June, 1955.
