CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING r^O THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN
REAL PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR
STREET PURPOSES
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of. FIRST SOUTHERN BAPTIST
CHURCH
to sell to the City of. Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for street purposes
and more particularly described as fol-
The Southerly 4o feet of the Easterly 4 acres of the East
One -half of Lot 8 of Anaheim Extension as shown on a map
thereof made by William Hamel in 1868 and filed in Book
3, Pages 162 -164 Records of Los Angeles County, California.
In consideration of the improvement by the City of
Anaheim of the above entitled property as a street and the
extension of Broadway Street in the City of Anaheim from South
East Street to the westerly boundary of Tract 1565, the First
Southern Baptist Church agrees to pay for the installation of
curbs and sidewalks upon, along and over the property abutting
said street, and agrees to pay such cost when requested by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim.

City Of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Treasurer of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owners of said real property, out of General Funds of "the City
of Anaheim, the sum of One and no /100 Dollars (,,)1.00).
