RESOLUTION NO. 2763
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF TEE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT D wD CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR STREET WIDENING PURPOSES.
WHIEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
is purposes, to wit: An easement for street widening
and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of MARY E. KERWIN, a widow,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for street widening purposes,
and more particularly described as follows:
The northerly 30 feet of the following described
property being a part of Lot 16, Anaheim Extension,
in Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, as per map
thereof as surveyed by William Hamel on file in the
office of the Recorder of Los Angeles County,
California, and more particularly described as fol-
lows:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of that certain
parcel of land conveyed by deed recorded October
28, 1947 in Book 1590, Page 187, Official Records
of Orange County, California, said corner being a
point in the center line of South Street S. 74°
36' 05" W. 373.10 feet from the intersection of
the center line of said South Street with the
center line of Placentia Avenue as shown on said
Anaheim Extension; running from said point of
beginning N. 74 36' 05" E. 124.00 feet; thence
S. 15° 45' 25" E. 188.75 feet along a line parallel
to the West line of said parcel; thence S. 74° 36
05" W. 124.00 feet to a point in the West line of
said parcel; thence N. 15 45' 25" West 188.75 feet
to the point of beginning.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM that portion now lying within
South Street.
be and the same is hereby accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Treasurer of
the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay
to the owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One and no /100 Dollars ($1.00).
