WHEREAS, the City Council finds from said petition and
evidence and reports received that the boundaries of the territory
so pro,osod to be annexed to the City of Anaheim are as follows,

NOTICE OF THE DAY, HOUR AND PLACE WHERE AND
THEN ANY PERSON OWNING REAL PROPERTY WITHIN
SUCH TERRITORY SO PROPOSED TO BE ANNEXED MAY
APPEAR BEFORE THE CITY COUNCIL AND SHOW CAUSE
'THY SUCH TERRITORY SHOULD NOT BE ANNEXED TO
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim dic,
on the loth day of May 19 5 receive a
written petition asking that certain new territory described
caid petition be annexed to the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, before the filing of said petition, the pro
posal for the annexation of the territory hereinafter described
to the City of Anaheim was submitted to the Boundary Commissiox
of the County of Orange, State of California, and reported upon
by said Boundary Commission with respect to the definiteness and
certainty of the proposed boundaries; and
WHEREAS, said territory proposed to be annexed to said
City of Anaheim is situated in the County of Orange, State of
California, and is contiguous to the City of Anaheim and is un-
inhabited territory, and said petition contained a description.
of said territory in words and figures as hereinafter in this
Resolution described; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds from evidence and re-
,)orts received that at the time of the filing and receipt of saiL
petition, it was and now is signed by owners of not less than one
fourth (4) of the area and not less than one fourth of the
assessed valuation of the land in such territory proposed to be
annexed, according to the last preceding equalized county assess-
ment roll; and
A parcel of land being a portion of Section 21, Township 4
South, Range 10 West, San Bernardino Base and Meridian and more
particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the existing Anaheim City Limits
Line as established by the Disneyland Annexation to the City of
Anaheim, Annexation No. 48, as passed by Ordinance No. 932 on
October 13, 1954 and filed with the Secretary of State on Decem-
ber 30, 1954, said point being the intersection of the easterly
line of the West 120 feet of South 230 feet of West 510 feet of
SE 1/4 of NW i/4 of Section 21 and a line parallel to and 20.00
feet northerly of southerly line of SE 1/4 of NW 1/4 of said
Section 21; thence,
1. N. 0° 01' 34" E. 210.00 feet to a point; thence,
2. S. 89° 58' 00" W. 120.00 feet to a point in the west
line of SE 1/4 of NW i/4 of said Section 21; thence,

30.00 feet westerly as measured at right angles from the easter-
ly line of NW i/4 of said Section 21, said easterly line also
being the center line of the Southern Pacific Company right -of-
way (60 feet wide) said point being located 1362.42' northerly
from said southerly line of SE 1/4 of NW 1/4 as measured along
a line parallel to and 30.00 feet westerly of said easterly
line of NW 1/4 of Section 21; thence,

wit: The Anaheim Bulletin of Anaheim, Orange County, California,
and also in a newspaper of general circulation, published outside
of the City, but in the County of Orange, in which is located the
territory hereinabove proposed to be annexed to the City of
Anaheim, to wit: The Cypress Enterprise and that
such publication shall be completed at least twenty (20) days
prior to the date of hearing hereinabove specified.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of the
City of Anaheim be, and she is hereby, authorized and directed
to cause written notice of such proposed annexation to be mailed
to each person to whom land within the territory proposed to be
annexed is assessed, in the last equalized county assessment roll
available, on the date the proceedings were initiated, at the
address shown on said assessment roll or as known to said City
Clerk, and to any person who has filed his name and address and
the designation of lands in which he has any interest, either
legal or equitable, with said Clerk; and in the event that land
within the territory proposed to be annexed to the City of
Anaheim is owned by a County, the City Clerk of the City of
Anaheim shall also cause written notice of such proposed annex-
ation to be mailed to the Board of Supervisors of such County.
The foregoing notices shall be given not less than twenty (20)
days before the first public hearing on the proposed annexation.
