A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHT M DENYING VARIANCE NO. 331.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did receive a pettion from the owner of certain real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Oran
State of California, described as follows:
The South 60 feet of the North 180 feet of the
West half of the Southwest cp.arter of the South-
east quarter of Section 2, Township 4 South,
Range 10 West, S.B.B. M., recorded in Book
2262, Page 313, Official Records of Orange
County, California;
AND WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a
public hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim on April
18, 1955, notices of which said public hearing were duly given
as required by law and the provisions of Section 9200.17 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission, after due in-
spection, investi and studies made by itself and in its
behalf, and after due consideration of all evidence and reports
offered at said hearing, did adopt Resolution No. 136 Series
1954 -55, granting said Variance No. 331 upon the conditions
stated in said resolution; and
WHEREAS, thereafter, within twenty (20) days from the
date of the adoption of said resolution, a written appeal was
filed with the City Council of the City of Anaheim opposing
the granting of said variance, and said appeal was set for
public hearing on the 10th day of May, 1955 at 7 :00 o?clock
P.M., at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim, and notice of
such public hearing was duly given as required by law and the
provisions of Section 9200.17 of the Anaheim Municipal Code;
and
i-IER=:EAS, after due investigation and studies made
by itself and in its behalf, and after due consideration of
all the evidence and reports offered at said hearing, the City
Council does find and determine that:
1. There is no substantial property right
possessed by other property in the same
vicinity and zone and denied the subject
property.
2. It appears that the subject property can
be adequately developed and used under the
present zone.
NO W, TT a tEFO E, BE I T RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the action of the City Planning
Commission granting Variance No. 331, requesting permission
to erect two new houses in addition to the present house, on
the above described property, be and the same is hereby dis-
approved, and said variance is hereby denied.
