A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for public purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public
utility purposes; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, 3E IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of Walter R. Ward and Persis
Ward, husband and wife, and Virgil H. Ward, a single man, to
sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real prop-
erty situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of
California, to be used for road and public utility purposes, and
more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under,
along, across and through that certain real property in the
City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California being
a portion of the West half of Section 12, Township 4 South,
Range 10 West, S.B.B. M., described as follows:
Beginning at the Southwesterly corner of Lot 13 of Tract
1843 as shown on a map recorded in Book 53, Pages 45 and
4 of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of said Orange County;
thence South 0° 25 53" West along a line parallel with
and distant Easterly 50.00 feet measured at right angles
from the center line of Placentia Avenue as shown on said
map of Tract 1843, a distance of 145.57 feet to a tangent
curve concave Northeasterly and having a radius of 15.00
feet; thence Southeasterly along said curve through a central
angle of 79° 18' 11 a distance of 20.76 feet to a point on
a line parallel with and distant Northeasterly 50.00 feet
measured at right angles from the center line of Anaheim
Olive Road as shown on said map of Tract 18 thence South
78° 52' 26" East along said parallel line 99.51 feet to the
Southwesterly corner of Lot 12 of said Tract 1843; thence
South 0° 25 53" West along the Southerly prolongation of
the Westerly line of said Lot 12, a distance of 20.35 feet
to a point on a line parallel with and distant Northeasterly
30.00 feet measured at right angles from the center line of
said Anaheim -Olive Road; thence North 78° 52 26" West along
said parallel line 132.29 feet to its intersection with a
line parallel with and distant Easterly 30.00 feet measured
at right angles from the center line of said Placentia
Avenue; thence North 0° 25 53" East along said parallel line
174.58 feet to a point on the Westerly prolongation of the
Southerly line of Lot 13 of said Tract 1843; thence South
89 34' 07" East 20.00 feet to the point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Treasurer of the City of
Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owners of
said real property, out of General Funds of the City of Anaheim,
the sum of one and no /100 (41.00) Dollars.

Van Wagoner.
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None.
AND I FURTHER CEiTIFY that the Mayor of the City
of Anaheim approved and signed asid resolution on the 26th
day of April, 1955.
