A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITYY OF A A AND AUTHORIZING
THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT TO BE MADE
AND ENTERED INTO BY AND BETWEEN THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AND THE PLACENTIA SANITARY
DISTRICT, RELATING TO THE USE BY THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM OF THE ORANGETHORPE TRUNK SEWER
LINE OF PLACENTIA.
WHEREAS, the Placentia Sanitary District is the
owner of a trunk sewer line running along Orangethorpe
Avenue from Placentia to Euclid Avenue and south on Euclid
Avenue to approximately the intersection of Euclid Avenue
and La Palma Avenue; and
WHELEAS, said trunk sewer line has a capacity
of approximately two cubic feet per second, and at the
present time Placentia uses approximately one -sixth of the
capacity of said line; and
WHEREAS, the Placentia Sanitary District is
willing to permit the City of Anaheim to use said trunk
sewer line pursuant to the terms and conditions of an
agreement dated April 21, 1955, this day submitted to the
City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find that it would
be to the advantage and for the best interest of the City
of Anaheim to enter into the said agreement with said
Placentia Sanitary District.
NOW, THEPEFO_iE, BE IT liESuLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the agreement dated the 21st day
of April,1955, to be made and entered into by and between
the City of Anaheim and the Placentia Sanitary District of
Orange County, California, granting to the City of Anaheim
the right to use the Orangethorpe Trunk Sewer Line of the
Placentia Sanitary District, to the extent and upon the
terms and conditions set forth in said agreement, be and
the same is hereby approved; and that the Mayor and the City
Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized to execute said
agreement for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved
by me this 21st day of April, 1955.
