A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING `"D THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN
REAL PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR
ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for public purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
public utility purposes and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of. Ralph W. Seward and
Jessie Nancy Seward, husband and wife,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for road and public utility
purposes and more particularly described as fol-
lows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes
over, under, across, along and through that
certain real property in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, de-
scribed as follows:
The West 30.00 feet of the Northerly 146.00
feet of the Southerly 476.00 feet of the West
one -half of the Northwest quarter of the
Southeast quarter of the Southwest quarter of
Section 2, Township 4 South, Range 10 West,
S.B.B. M.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City Of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Treasurer of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owners of said real property, out of General Funds of "the City
of Anaheim, the sum of One and no /100 Dollars N1,00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 21st day of April 1955
