1955-2703WHEREAS, the County of Orange maintains and operates
a dog pound, and has offered to receive such stray dogs as
the City of Anaheim may wish to have impounded, and to feed
and dispose of said dogs in accordance with instructions of
the City of Anaheim, for the sum of 25/ per day for each dog
delivered, with a minimum fee of X1.00 for each dog; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the charge
above mentioned is reasonable and fair and that it would be
to the advantage and for the best interest of the City of
Anaheim to enter into an agreement with the County of Orange
for the impounding of stray dogs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the proposed agreement this day
submitted to the City Council to be made and entered into by
and between the County of Oran=;e and the City of Anaheim for
the impounding of stray dogs delivered by the City of Anaheim
to the County of Orange at its pound, to be fed and disposed
of in accordance with instructions from the City, for the sum
of 25¢ per day for each dog, but providing for a minimum fee
of 41.00 for each dog delivered, and upon the further terms
and conditions therein set forth, be, and the same is hereby,
approved; and that the Mayor and the City Clerk be, and they
are hereby,authorized and directed to execute said agreement
for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
