A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OP THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN
REAL PROPE RTY FOR AN EASEMHYT FOR
STREET WIDENING PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for public purposes, to wit: An easement for
street widening_ purposes and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of MANLEEY -KUHNS CORPORA
TI ON
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the C.ty of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for street widening purposes
and more particularly described as fol-
lows:
A parcel of land, being a portion of the SE4 of Section 21,
Township 4 South, Range 10 West, S.B.B. M., and more par-
ticularly described as follows: Beginning at a point of
intersection of the easterly line of said SE* of Section 21
(said easterly line also being the center line of West Street)
and the southerly line of the easement granted to the Southern
California Edison Co., Ltd. by deed recorded September 10, 1931
in Book 502 at Page 401, Official Records of Orange Co., thence,
1. S O 05t 20 E. 1216.84 feet along said easterly line of
SEg of Section 21 to a point 40.00 feet, as measured at right
angles, northerly of the southerly line of said SE of Section
16 (said southerly line also being the centerline of Katella
Avenue); thence,
2. S. 89' 34= 05t W. 40.00 feet, along a line parallel to and
40.00 feet northerly, as measured at right angles, from said
