1955-2690WHEREAS, the City desires to acquire the use of a
certain building owned by the Anaheim Union High School
District, to be used as office space for the Park and Recrea-
tion Depar Lrrient and
WHEREAS, said Anaheim Union High School District is
willing to lease said building to the City for such purpose,
and has this day submitted to the City Council a proposed
agreement setting forth the terms and conditions upon which
said District is willing to lease said building to the City;
an d
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine
that said proposed agreement is fair in its terms, and is
advantageous and for the best interest of the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the proposed agreement this day
submitted to the City Council to be made and entered into by
and between the City of Anaheim and the Anaheim Union High
School District, for the leasing to the City of that certain
building known as the Elementary School Administration Office
Building, located north of Center Street on North West Street
in the City of Anaheim, for an annual rental of Twenty -five
Dollars (w25), payable on the lst day of July of each year,
commencing on the lst day of July, 1955, and upon the further
terms and conditions therein set forth, be, and the same is
hereby approved; and that the Mayor and the City Clerk be,
and they are hereby, authorized and directed to execute said
agreement for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by
me this 29th day of March, 1955.
