A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF
CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY TO THE ANAHEIM
SCHOOL DISTRICT, AND AUTHORIZING THE
EXECUTION OF A CONVEYANCE THEREOF.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is the owner of the
hereinafter described real property; and
WHEREAS, said real property is not presently needed
for any immediate public use nor municipal purposes; and
WHEREAS, the Anaheim School District has offered to
purchase said real property for the sum of 11.565.00
cash, lawful money of the United States, which said sum shall
be deposited in escrow at All Service Corporation, Anaheim,
California, to be paid to the City at the close of escrow; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it is for the
benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim to accept
said offer and sell and convey said real property to said
Anaheim School District upon the terms and conditions herein-
after specified.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the offer of the Anaheim School
District to purchase the hereinafter described real property
for the sum of §p 11,565.00 cash, lawful money of the
United States of America, be acceptea upon the following
terms and conditions:
1. That 11,565.00 cash, lawful money of
the United States of America, be placed in escrow with the
All Service Corporation Anaheim, California, to be paid to
the City at the close of escrow, said escrow to be complied
with on or before the 1st day of April, 1955, or as soon
thereafter as possible, unless a written demand for the re-
turn of the money or instruments by a party to said escrow
is delivered to said escrow holder subsequent to such date
and prior to the recording of any instruments provided for
in said escrow.
2. That said property shall be sold subject to
covenants, conditions, restrictions, reservations, rights,
rights -of -way and easements of record or in any deed executed
by the City to said purchaser.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City
Clerk of the City of Anaheim be, and they are hereby, author-
ized to execute a good and sufficient deed conveying to said
Anaheim School District the following described real property
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of
California, and more particularly described as follows:
That portion of Lot 18 of Anaheim Extension as
shown on a Map of a survey made by Wm. Hamel
in 1868, on file in the Office of the County
Recorder of Los Angeles County, California
more particularly described as follows:

Beginning at a point on the North line of said
Lot 18, distant 528 feet northeast from the northwest
corner of said Lot 18, said point also being the north-
east corner of a parcel of land conveyed by deed from
Delmar E. Jackson and Ann Jackson to the Anaheim School
District and recorded in Book 2604, Page 186, Official
Records of Orange County; thence
Southeasterly along the easterly line of said
parcel of land a distance of 385.86 feet to the south-
east corner of said parcel; thence,
Southwesterly along the south line of said parcel
a distance of 318 feet to a point; thence,
Southeasterly along a line parallel to the westerly
line of said Lot 18 a distance of 82.74 feet to a point;
thence,
Northeasterly along a line parallel to the northerly
line of said Lot 18 a distance of 500 feet to a point;
thence,
Northwesterly along a line parallel to the westerly
line of said Lot 18 a distance of 468.60 feet to a point
in the northerly line of said Lot 18; thence,
Southwesterly along the northerly line of said Lot
18 a distance of 182 feet to the point of beginning.
EXCEPT THEREFROM that portion lying within East
Vermont Avenue.
and to deliver said deed into escrow at All Service Corporation,
Anaheim, California, to be delivered to said grantee upon com-
pletion of said escrow and the payment of the full purchase
price as hereinabove provided.
AND RF IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of
the City of Anaheim be, and she is hereby, authorized and
directed to certify a copy of this resolution and cause the
same to be attached to the deed to be executed by the City
of Anaheim and delivered to said escrow agent as herein pro-
vided; and the County Recorder of Orange County, California
is hereby authorized to record said deed and resolution.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 3rd day of March, 1955.

was passed and adopted at a Special Meeting of the City
Council of the City of Anaheim, held on the 3rd day of
March, 1955, by the following vote of the members thereof:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Pearson, Fry, Schutte,
Wisser and Van Wagoner.
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None.
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None.
AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City
of Anaheim approved and signed said Resolution on the 3rd
day of March, 1955.
