A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY CQUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DxHD
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN
REAL PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR STREET
WIDENING PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for public purposes, to wit: An easement for street widening
purposes; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
finds that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City
of Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RES LVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of HELEN PORTER and LAURA
PORTER, as joint tenants, to sell to the City of Anaheim the
following described real property situated in the City of
Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, to be used for
street widening purposes, and more particularly described as
follows:
Beginning at the intersection of a line parallel to and
30.00 feet easterly of the west line of Section 4, Town-
ship 4 South, Range 10 West, San Bernardino Base and
Meridian, said west line being the center line of Euclid
Avenue, and a line parallel to and 30.00 feet northerly
of the south line of said Section 4, said south line also
being the center line of La Palma Avenue; thence,
1. N. 0 03' 38" E. 170.00 feet along a line parallel
to and 30.00 feet easterly of said west line of Section
L}. to a point; thence,
2. S. 89° 45' 22" E. 20.00 feet along the northerly line
of the South 200 feet of the West 200 feet of the south-
west one- quarter of the southwest one- quarter of said
Section 4 to a point; thence,
3. S. 0° 03' 38" W. 150.00 feet along a line parallel to
and 50.00 feet easterly of said westerly line of Section
4 to a point located 50.00 feet northerly of said
southerly line of Section 4, as measured at right angles;
thence,
LL. S. 89° 45' 22" E. 150.00 feet along a line parallel
to and 50.00 feet northerly of said southerly line of
Section 4 to a point in the easterly line of said south
200 feet of the west 200 feet of the southwest one quarter
of the southwest one-quarter of Section 4; thence,
5, S. 0° 03' 38" W. 20.00 feet along said easterly line
to a point located 30.00 feet northerly, as measured at
right angles, from said southerly line of Section 4;
thence,
6. N. 89° 45' 22" W. 170.00 feet along a line parallel
to and 30.00 feet northerly of said southerly line to
the point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey
ante of said property.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Treasurer of
the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay
to the owners of said real property, out of General Funds
of the City of Anaheim, the sum of One and no /100 Dollars
(1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLTJTION is approved and signed by
me this 21st day of February, 1 955.
