A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM ESTABLISHING THE LOCATION FOR PARKING
METERS, PURSUANT TO ARTICLE III, CHAPTER 3 OF THE
ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE, AND FIXING THE TIME FOR THE
COMMENCEMENT OF THE OPERATION OF SUCH METERS.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
duly adopted the Anaheim Municipal Code on July 22, 1952 and
Article III, Chapter 3 thereof defining and establishing
Parking Meter Zones, providing for the installation, use and
control of parking meters relating to traffic and regulating
use of public streets, and providing for enforcement and
penalties for violation thereof; and
EREAS, the Ordinance adopting said Anaheim Municipal
Code having been duly published, as required by law on the 24th
day of July, 1952, and said Ordinance having taken effect on the
22nd day of August, 1952, and said Anaheim Municipal Code having
become effective on said date; and
WHEREAS, said Anaheim Municipal Code provides that
said parking meters shall be installed by the City Engineer in
such locations as the City Council of the City of Anaheim shall,
by resolution, from time to time determine and order, within
the zones established by said Chapter 3 of said Anaheim Municipal
Code.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the City Engineer of the City of Anaheim
be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to install the
following number of parking meters at the following location:
WEST CHESTNUT STREET 31 Meters, 15 on the
north side and 16 on the south side of West
Chestnut Street, between Los Angeles Street and
Lemon Street.
BE IT FURTHER 3.SOLVED that 9 o'clock A. M.,
on the 15 day of March 1955 is hereby fixed as the
time for the official commencement of parking meter operations
under Article III, Chapter 3 of the Anaheim Municipal Code as
amended, at the above location.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by me
this 21st day of February, 1955.

NOES: COUNCILMEN: None.
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None.
AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of he City of
Anaheim approved and signed said Resolution on the 21st day
of February, 1955.
