RESOLUTION IPSO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAH JM EXPRESSING ITS CONDOLENCE
TO THE WIDOW AND FAMILY OF MAYOR CHARLES
0. McCART OF THE CITY OF BREA.
WHEREAS, the City Council has been informed of
the death of Mayor Charles O. McCart of the City of Brea;
an d
WHEREAS, the City Council is shocked and grieved
to learn of the passing of Mayor McCart, with whom it had
such pleasant and friendly relations during his lifetime;
and
WHEREAS, the loss of the association and com-
panionsnip of Mayor McCart as a friend and public official
will be keenly felt by the members of the City Council of
the City of Anaheim and his many associates in public life,
where he was long esteemed for his integrity of character
and his clear judgment in the conduct of the affairs of the
City of Brea; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to extend its
sympathy and express its sorrow to the surviving widow and
the family of Mayor McCart.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE RESOLVED that the City
Council of the City of Anaheim and each member thereof does
hereby extend to Mrs. Charles 0. McCart and family his
deepest sympathy in their bereavement, and does hereby ex-
press to them his sorrow in the loss of a husband and father.
AND BE Ill FU LTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this
Resolution be spread upon the minutes of the City Council of
the City of Anaheim, and that a certified copy thereof be
forwarded to the widow and family of Mayor McCart.
