A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN
REAL PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR STREET
WIDENING PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for public purposes, to wit: An easement for street widening
purposes and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
finds that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City
of Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of WILLIAM S. FUKUDA and
ROSE C. FUKUDA, Husband Wife, to sell
to the City of Anaheim the following described real property
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of
California, and more particularly described as follows:
The Northerly 25.25 feet, as being measured at right angles
from the Southerly right -of -way line of Center Street, and the
Northerly 10 feet of the Southerly 40 feet as measured radially
from the center line of Anaheim Olive Road of that portion of
Lot Eleven (11) of Anaheim Extension, as per map of survey made
by William Hamel filed in the office of the County Recorder of
Los Angeles County, California, bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the Southerly line of Center Street
49.50 feet wide, as shown on said map distant thereon 48 feet
Easterly from the Westerly line of said Lot 11, running thence
Easterly along said Southerly line of said Center Street to a
point which is distant thereon 321.32 feet Westerly from the
Westerly line of a 60 foot road known as Placentia Avenue and
shown on said map; thence Southerly on a line parallel with the
Westerly line of said Placentia Avenue to a point on the center
line of the right -of -way described in the deed to the State of
California recorded April 12, 1937, in Book 883 at Page 89 of
Official Records in the office of the County Recorder of Orange
County, California; thence Westerly along said center line of
Anaheim Olive Road to a line which is parallel with and 48 feet
Easterly, measured at right angles, from the Westerly line of
said Lot 11; thence Northerly along said parallel line to the
point of beginning.
TO BE USED FOR STREET WIDENING PURPOSES.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Treasurer of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owners of said real property, out of General Funds of the City
of Anaheim, the sum of One and no /100 (1.00) Dollars,
