1954-2537RESOLUTION NO. 2537 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING SECTIONS 15 AND 25 OF RESOLUTION NO. 2495, ENTITLED "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ESTABLISHING A BASIC COMPENSATION PLAN FOR CERTAIN CLASSES OF EMPLOYMENT IN THE MUNICIPAL SERVICE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AND ESTABLISHING REGULATIONS FOR THE PLACEMENT OF PRESENT EMPLOYEES WITH- IN THE WAGE AND SALARY SCHEDULES PROVIDED; PROVIDING FOR PHYSICAL EXAMINATIONS, HOLIDAYS AND VACATIONS, AND REPEALING RESOLUTION NUMBERS 2056 -A AND 2141." WHEREAS, after due consideration, the City Council finds and determines that Sections 15 and 25 of Resolution No. 2495, entitled "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ESTABLISHING A BASIC COMPENSATION PLAN FOR CERTAIN CLASSES OF EMPLOYMENT IN THE MUNICIPAL SERVICE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AND ESTABLISHING REGULATIONS FOR THE PLACEMENT OF PRESENT EMPLOYEES WITHIN THE WAGE AND SALARY SCHEDUT.FS PROVIDED; PROVIDING FOR PHYSICAL EXAMINATIONS, HOLIDAYS AND VACATIONS, AND REPEALING RESOLUTION NUMBERS 2056 -A AND 2141," approved August 10, 1954, should be amended. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that Sections 15 and 25 of Resolution No. 2495 of the City of Anaheim be, and the same are hereby, amended to read as follows: "SECTION 15: POLICE DEPARTMENT: An allowance of 00.00 per year, payable semi annually, for all regular officers, in active service, excepting the Chief and Matrons, for uniforms is hereby author- ized. "In addition to above listed compensation, members of the Police Department shall receive ;12.00 per day pay for political code holidays, excepting therefrom Columbus Day, pay to be received during the months in which holidays occur. "School Crossing Guards, not to exceed seven (7) in number, whose compensation is hereby fixed at 688.00 per month." "SECTION 25: SPECIAL SERVICES: For Special Services listed below, the followin-, compensation is hereby established: "(a) Personnel Officer 6225.00 per month. (b) License Collector 160.00 per month. (c) Night Watchman (park) 22.50 per month. (d) Off Duty Service Man 5.00 per week. (e) Civil Defense Coordinator 205.00 per month. (f) Payroll Officer 130.00 per month.
