A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN
REAL PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR STREET
MIDENTNG PURPOSES
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for public purposes, to wit: An easement for street widening
purposes 9 and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
finds that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City
of Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of ROBERT W. HENSLEY and
LQRETTA M. HEMSLEY, husband and wife. to sell
to the City of Anaheim the following described real property
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of
California, and more particularly described as follows:
The Northerly 20 feet of the Southerly 50 feet, and the Easterly
10 feet of the Westerly 30 feet of the following described
property=
That portion of Lot 10 of Miles Rancho as shown on the map
thereof recorded in Book L. at Page 7 of Miscellaneous Maps,
Records of Orange County, California, described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the intersection of the center line
of La Palma Avenue, 60 feet wide, with the center line of
West Street, !0 feet wide, and running thence North 89° 42'
00" East along the center line of said La Palma Avenue 9
feet to the Southwest corner of the tract of land conveyed
to Erna W. Clark by Deed recorded August 17, 1951 in Book 2218
at Page 312 of Official Records of Orange County, California;
thence North 0 29' 10" West along the West line of the land
conveyed to Clark 160 feet; thence South 89° 42' 00" West,
parallel with said center line of said La Palma Avenue 98 feet
to the center line of said West Street; thence South 0° 29
10" East along said center line of West Street 160 feet to
the point of beginning.
AN EASEMENT FOR STREET WIDENING PURPOSES.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Treasurer of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owners of said real property, out of General Funds of "the City
of Anaheim, the sum of One and no /100 (p1.00) Dollars.
