A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE DEPUTY
CITY CLERK, AS WELL AS THE CITY CLERK AND
CITY TREASURER, TO EXECUTE CHECKS AND
OTHER ITEMS FOR AND ON BEHALF OF THE CITY
IN CONNECTION WITH THE METER.DEPOSIT TRUST
FUND ACCOUNT.
WHEREAS, heretofore, to wit, on the 10th day of
August, 1954 the City Council of the City of Anaheim did
adopt Resolution No. 2498 finding and determining that con-
venience and necessity in the handling of the Meter Deposit
Trust Fund Account, among others, required the deposit of
certain funds of the City in the Security -First National
Bank of Los Angeles (Anaheim Branch); and
WHEREAS, the City Council did further find that
the City Clerk and City Treasurer of the City of Anaheim
should be authorized to execute checks and other items for
and on behalf of the City in connection with said account;
and
WHEREAS, upon further consideration the City Council
finds that it will be more convenient and greater efficiency
can be had by authorizing the Deputy City Clerk, as well as
the City Clerk and City Treasurer, to execute checks and other
items for and on behalf of the City in connection with the
Meter Deposit Trust Fund Account.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of
Anaheim open an account with SECURITY -FIRST NATIONAL BANK
OF LOS ANGELES (Anaheim Branch), and that until such authority
is revoked by sealed notification to said Bank of such action
by the City Council of this City, DENE M. WILLIAMS, City
Clerk, and /or ELEANOR V. BRADLEY, Deputy City Clerk, and /or
A. G. TUMA, Treasurer of this City be and they are authorized,
any two acting together, to execute checks and other items
for and on behalf of this City in connection with the Meter
Deposit Trust Fund Account.
RESOLVED FURTHER, that this City hereby agrees to
the conditions printed in the Pass Book issued in connection
with its account with the Security -First National Bank of
Los Angeles, and to the by -laws and rules of said Bank, as to
all deposits and withdrawals made on said account and as to
other transactions with said Bank.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by
me this 19th day of August, 1 954.
