1954-2498WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
finds that convenience and necessity in the handling of
the Meter Deposits Account, Meter Deposit Trust Fund Ac-
count, and the Inactive Account of the City of Anaheim
require the deposit of certain funds of the City in a bank
or banks located in the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the City Council further finds that the
City Clerk and City Treasurer of the City of Anaheim should
be authorized to execute checks and other items for and on
behalf of the City in connection with said accounts.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That this City
open accounts with SECURITY -FIRST NATIONAL BANK OF LOS
ANGELES (Anaheim Branch) and that until such'authority is
revoked by sealed notification to said Bank of such action
by the City Council of this City, Dene M. Williams, City
Clerk, and A. G. Tuma, Treasurer of this City be and they
are authorized, acting together, to execute checks and
other items for and on behalf of this City in connection
with the above named accounts.
RESOLVED FURTHER, That this City hereby agrees to
the conditions printed in the Pass Books issued in con-
nection with its accounts with the Security -First National
Bank of Los Angeles, and to the by -laws and rules of said
Bank, as to all deposits and withdrawals made on said ac-
counts and as to other transactions with said Bank.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved
by me this 10th day of August, 1954.
