A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING DEPOSIT OF
FUNDS OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM IN THE
SECURITY .FIRST- NATIONAL BANK OF LOS
ANGELES, ANAHEIM BRANCH; AND AUTHORIZ-
ING THE MAYOR AND THE CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE CHECKS AND OTHER ITEMS FOR AND
ON BEHALF OF THE CITY.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
finds that convenience and necessity in the handling of the
Payroll Account of the City of Anaheim require the deposit
of certain funds of the City in a bank or banks in the City
of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the City Council further finds that the
Mayor and City Clerk of the City of Anaheim should be
authorized to execute checks and other items for and on
behalf of the City in connection with said account.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That this City
open an account or accounts with SECURITY -FIRST NATIONAL
BANK OF LOS ANGELES (Anaheim Branch), and that until such
authority is revoked by sealed notification to said Bank
of such action by the City Council Of this City, Chas. A.
Pearson, Mayor, and Dene M. Williams, City Clerk of this
City be and they are authorized, acting together, to execute
checks and other items for and on behalf of this City in
connection with the above mentioned account.
RESOLVED FURTHER, That this City hereby agrees to
the conditions printed in the Pass Book issued in connection
with its account with the Security First National Bank of
Los Angeles, and to the by -laws and rules of said Bank, as
to all deposits and withdrawals made on said account and as
to other transactions with said Bank.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved
by me this 10th day of August, 1954.
