A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN
REAL PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR
STREET WIDENING PURPOSES
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for public purposes, to wit: An easement for
street widening purposes and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
finds that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City
of Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of Walter E. Garner and
Frances H. Carner, husband and wife, to sell
to the City of Anaheim the following described real property
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of
California, and more particularly described as follows:
The southerly 30 feet of the westerly 144 feet
of the southerly 155 feet of the westerly 7
acres of the easterly 13 -1/2 acres of the south
half of Lot 10 of Anaheim Extension, in Orange
County, State of California, as per map thereof
made by William Hamel and filed in Book 3, Page
163 et seq. records of Los Angeles County,
California;
EXCEPTING therefrom that portion now included with
in the northerly one -half of Santa Ana Street as
shown on a map of said tract.
FOR STREET WIDENING PURPOSES,
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Treasurer of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owners of said real property, out of General Funds of'the City
of Anaheim, the sum of One and no /100 (;;1.00} Dollars,
