1954-2483RESOLUTION NO. 2L83 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR DRAIN- AGE PURPOSES. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for public purposes, to wit: An easement for drainage pur- poses; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that the offer of LOUISE A. WEISEL (a widow), LOUISE WEISEL HEARTT (a married woman), MARY WEISEL NEWTON (a married woman), and PETER J. WEISEL (a married man), to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, and more particularly described as follows: AN EASEMENT FOR DRAINAGE PURPOSES over and across the westerly 12 feet of the easterly 18 feet of the southerly 309.83 feet of the following de- scribed property: Commencing at a point on the westerly line of Lot 16 of Anaheim Extension, as shown on a map made by William Hamel and filed in the Office of the County Recorder of Los Angeles County, California, said point being 5.125 chains southerly from the northwest corner of said lot; and r unning thence north 74-1/2° east 9.755 chains; thence south 15 -1/2 east 15.375 chains,; thence south 7 -1/2 west 9.755 chains; and thence north 15 -1/2 west 15.375 chains to the point of beginning, contain- ing 15 acres, more or less. IT IS AGREED that at such time as this property is sub divided and streets, within such subdivision, are improved, the City of Anaheim will abandon this easement and cause the removal of any improve ment placed upon this easement. be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey- ance of said property. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Treasurer of the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owners of said real property, out of General Funds of the City of Anaheim, the sum of One and no /100 ($1.00) Dollars.
