1954-2468WHEREAS, heretofore, to wit, on or about the 26th day of May, 1953 the City Council did duly adopt and pass Resolution No. 2157 authorizing the City of Anaheim to join with a group of other cities in opposing the application of The Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Company for an increase in rates; and WHEREAS, on the 9th day of February, 1954 the City Council did adopt Resolution No. 2345 providing for the with- drawal of the City of Anaheim as an opponent or contestant in said proceedings; and WHEREAS, the City Council does find that it would not be to the advantage nor best interest of the City of Anaheim to withdraw from said proceedings.
