1954-2462RESOLUTION NO. 2/462 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR STREET WIDENING PURPOSES. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for public purposes, to wit: An easement for street widening purposes and WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered tot sell said hereinafter described real property to the City of Anaheim for the sum of One and no /100 (y$1.00) Dollars; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council if the City of Anaheim that the offer of AL,BRT E. MILLER and HELEN F. MILLER husband and wife, to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real property situ- ated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of Cali- fornia, and more particularly described as follows: A portion of Lot 24 of "Golden State Tract No. 2" as shown on a Map recorded in Book L., Page 68 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California, described as follows: Beginning at the Southeast corner of Lot 1, Tract 1364, as shown on a map recorded in Book 52, PagesL2 and 43, Miscel- laneous Maps, records of Orange County, California, running thence Southerly along the Southerly extension of the Easterly line of said Tract (No. 1364) to a point, said point being on the Northerly right -of -way line of La Palma Avenue (60 ft. wide), thence easterly along the northerly right -of -way line of said La Palma Avenue 135 feet to the Westerly right -of -way line of Acacia Street (40 ft. wide) thence; Northerly along the Westerly right -of -way line of said Acacia Street a dis- tance of 365.72 feet, more or less, to the North property line of property owned by ALBS a E. MILLER and HELEN F. MILLER, husband and wife, thence Westerly along the North property line of said property owned by ALBERT E. MILLER and HELEN F. MILLI+ a distance of ten (10) feet to a point, thence Southerly a distance of 355.72 feet, more or less, to a point on a line ten (10) feet northerly as measured at right angles to the existing northerly right-of-way line of said La Palma Avenue, thence Westerly along a line parallel to the existing Northerly right-of-way line of said La Palma Avenue a distance of 125 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. FOt STR+ i,T WIDENING PURPOSES, be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey- ance of said property.
