desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for public purposes, to wit: An easement for street widening
purposes and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
finds that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City
of Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of J. RALPH CALDWELL and
JOANN L. CALDWELL, husband and wife, to sell
to the City of Anaheim the following described real property
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of
California, and more particularly described as follows:
That portion of the North one -half of the Northwest
one quarter of the Northeast one- quarter of Section
22, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, San Bernardino
Base and Meridian, described as follows:
Commencing at the Northeast corner of Lot 70 of Tract
1758 as shown on a map thereof recorded in Book 53,
Pages 19 and. 20 of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of
Orange County, California, and running thence N. 89
55 35" E. 245.00 feet to the Northwest corner of Lot
8 of said Tract; thence N. 0 lLt' 30" W. 20 feet along
the existing boundary line of said Tract to the South
right -of -way line of Ball Road (60 feet wide); thence
S. 89° 55' 35" W. alon =r the South right -of -way line of
said Ball Road 245.00 feet to the existin^' boundary line
of said Tract; thence S. 0 14 30" E. along the exist-
in' boundary line 20,00 feet to the point of beginning.
FOR STREET WIDENING PURPOSES,
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Treasurer of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owners of said real property, out of General Funds of `the City
of Anaheim, the sum of One and no /100 U1.00) Dollars,
