1954-2436WHEREAS, a request has been made that the City
Council of the City of Anaheim determine whether or not
a public hearing before the City Council will be required
before the relocation and improvement as a freeway of a
portion of State Highway Route 175 is made; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine
that a hearing before the City Council of the City of
Anaheim to relocate and improve as a freeway a portion of
State Highway Route 175 in Los Angeles and Orange Counties
between Palo Verde Avenue and Route 174 is not necessary;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that no public hearing shall be re-
quired to be held before the City Council for the relocation
and improvement as a freeway of a portion of State Highway
Route 175 in Los Angeles and Orange Counties between Palo
Verde Avenue and Route 174, as shown on a map thereof pre-
sented to the City Council with a letter from the State of
California, Department of Public Works, Division of Highways,
District VII, dated June 1, 1954, signed by G. T. McCoy,
State Highway Engineer, by P. 0. Harding, Assistant State
Highway Engineer; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a certified copy of
this resolution be furnished to the Department of Public
Works, Division of Highways, State of California.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by
me this 9th day of June, 1954.
