RESOLUTION NO. 3166
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN
REAL PROPERTY FOR AN EASEll1ENT FOR ROAD
OR HIGHWAY PURPOSES: and RESCINDING
RESOLUTION NO. 3103
WHEREAS, the City Counoil of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real prop-
erty for public purposes, to wit: An easement for road or
highway purposes; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
finds that it is for the benefit and best interest of the
City of Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real
property.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Counoil of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of IRVING SCHNEIDER, MINDELLE
SCHNEIDER, EDWARD S. MILKES, BELLA MILKES, ESTHER CARL, MAURICE
CARL, LOUIS HENNIG AND KATHLEEN HENNIG to sell to the City of
Anaheim the following described real property situated in the
City of Anaheim, County of Orange, Stat~ of California, and more
particularly described as follows:
PARCEL IIBII:
A strip of land one hundred (100) feet in width
and being fifty (50) feet on each side of the follow-
ing described center line:
Beginning at the South one-quarter corner of
Section 22, T.4 S., R. 10 W., San Bernardino Meridian,
said corner being the intersection of the center
lines of Katella Avenue and Harbor Boulevard; thenoe
N. 00 14' 3011 W., along the East line of the Southwest
one-quarter (SW~) of said Section 22 and the center
line of Harbor Boulevard, a distanoe of 1321.35 feet
to the Northeast oorner of the Sputheast one-quarter
(SEt) of the southwest one-quarter (SWi) of said Seo-
tion 22.
PARCEL "CII:
A strip of land one hundred ten (110) feet in
width and being sixty (60) feet on the West side and
fifty (50) feet on the East side of the following
described center line:
Beginning at the Southwest corner of the North-
east one-quarter (NEi) of the Southwest one-quarter
(SWi) of Section 22, T. 4 S., R.IOW., San Bernardino
Meridian, said corner being in the center line of
Harbor Boulevard, thence, N. 00 14' JOM W. along the
East line of the Southwest one-quarter (SWf) of said
Section 22 and the center line of Harbor Boulevard, a
distance of 1321.00 feet to the center of said Section
22; thence, N. 00 12' 13" W., along the East line of
the Northwest one-quarter (NWi) of said Section 22 and
the center line of Harbor Boulevard, to the Southerly
right of way acquired by the State of California on
Harbor Boulevard.

feet to a line, said line being at right angles to the
above described center line; thenoe, Northerly, along
said last mentioned right angle line, a distanoe of
40.00 feet to the true point of beginning of this
desoription; thence, continuing Northerly, along said
last mentioned right angle line, a distanoe of 20.00
feet to a line parallel with and 60.00 feet Northerly,
measured at right angles, from the center line of Kat-
ella Avenue; thence, Easterly, along said parallel line,
to a point 75.00 feet Westerly, measured at right angles,
from the center line of Harbor Boulevard; thenoe, North-
easterly, in a direct line, to the interseotion of a line

tinuing Northerly, along said last mentioned right angle
line, a distance of 20.00 feet to a line parallel with
and 60.00 feet Northerly, measured at right angles, from
the center line of Katella Avenue; thence, Westerly,
along said parallel line, to a point 75.00 feet Easterly,
measured at ri2:ht angles, from the center line of Harbor
Boulevard; thence, Northwesterly, in a direct line, to the

Northerly, measured at right angles, from the center line

to be used for road or highway purposes, be, and the same is
hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City of Anaheim,
and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance of said
property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Treasurer of
the City of Anaheim be, B.nd she is hereby, auth9rized to pay
out of the 1954 Street Improvement Bond Fund, to:
IRVING SCHNEIDER, MINDELLE SCHNEIDER, EDWARD
S. MILKES, BELLA MILKES, ESTHER CARL, and
MAURICE CARL,
owners of a portion of the hereinabove desoribed real property,
or their authorized representatives, the sum of ONE THOUSAND
THREE HUNDRED FIFTY DOLLARS ($1,350); and to payout of the
same fund to:
LOUIS HENNIG and KATHLEEN HENNIG,
also owners of a portion of said real property" or their author-
ized representatives, the sum of ONE HUNDRED FIFTY-SEVEN and
50/100 DOLLARS ($157.50).
RESOLUTION NO. 3103 is hereby rescinded.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 6 th day of Maroh, 1956.
