RESOLTTION NO. 2339
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL -OF THE
CITY OF ANAI-IEIM GRANTING TO THE UNITED
STATES OF AMERICA AN EASEMENT FOR A RIGHT
OF -WAY FOR THE CONSTRUCTION, MAINTENANCE
AND OPERATION OF A FUEL PIPE LINE.
WHEREAS, the United States Government, acting by
and through the Public Works Office of the Eleventh Naval
District, San Diego, California, has requested authority
for a right of entry upon, over and across the hereinafter
described real property for the construction, maintenance
and operation of a fuel pipe line; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the granting
of such right of entry and easement upon, over and across
the hereinafter described property for the construction,
operation and maintenance of said fuel pipe line will not
interfere with any other contemplated public use of said
property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVEI) by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that there be, and there is hereby,
granted to the United States of America an easement through,
upon, over and across the following real property situated
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
more particularly described as follows to wit:
A strip of land, being a portion of Walnut Street
in said City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of
California, the center line of said strip of land
being described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the Westerly
property line of Walnut Street with a line that is
parallel and distant 42.00 feet Southwesterly, when
measured at right angles, from the center line of
Manchester Avenue; thence Southeasterly along the
line parallel with the center line of Manchester
Avenue to an intersection with a line that is
parallel with and distant 15.00 feet Easterly, when
measured at right angles, from the center line of
Walnut Street; thence Southerly along the line
parallel with the center line of Walnut Street to a
point in a Southerly boundary line of the City of
Anaheim, said Southerly boundary line being the
center line of Ball Road.
for the construction, maintenance and operation of a fuel pipe
line; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City
Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized to execute any
documents or instruments of conveyance that may be necessary
and required to carry out the purposes of this Resolution and
to complete the granting or conveyance of said easement to the
United States of America.
