A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 2261
ACCEPTING A SEALED PROPOSAL AND AWARDING A
CONTRACT TO THE LOWEST RESEONSIBLE BIDDER FOR
THE FURNISHING OF ALL PLANT, LABOR, SERVICES,
MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT, AND PERFORMING ALL
WORK NECESSARY FOR THE CONSTRUCTION, INSTAL-
LATION AND COMPLETION OF THE FOLLOWING PUBLIC
IMPROVEMENT OR WORK: PUMPING EQUIPMENT FOR
3,000,000 GALLON RESERVOIR; WORK ORDER 1260.
WHEREAS, heretofore, to with, on the 27th day of
October, 1953, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did
adopt Resolution No. 2261 finding and determining that the
sealed proposal submitted by Wagner Pump Company of Santa
Ana, California, in the amount of `x.29,101.00, for the fur-
nishing of all plant, labor, services, materials and
equipment and all utilities and transportation, including
power, fuel and water, and performing all work necessary
to construct and complete the following public improvement:
Furnish and install pumping equipment for
3,000,000 gallon reservoir on La Plama Avenue
between Citron and West Streets, in the City
of Anaheim, Work Order No. 1260.
was the lowest responsible proposal submitted and should be
accepted, and a contract awarded to said bidder in accord-
ance therewith; and
WHEREAS, upon further consideration the City
Council finds it advisable to rescind said resolution ac-
cepting said sealed proposal and awarding a contract to
the Wagner Pump Company for said public improvement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that Resolution No. 2261, adopted on
the 27th day of October, 1953, accepting the sealed proposal of
the Wagner Pump Company of Santa Ana, California and award-
ing a contract to said Wagner Pump Company, the lowest re-
sponsible bidder for the furnishing of all plant, labor,
services, materials and equipment, and performing all work
necessary for the construction, installation and completion
of the following public improvement or work: Pumping
Equipment for 3,000,000- gallon Reservoir, Work Order 1260,
be, and the same is hereby, rescinded.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by
me this 26th day of January, 1954.
