A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCErTING A GRANT DEED CON•;VEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR STREET WIDENING PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for
public purposes, to wit: An easement for Street Widening Purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered to sell
said hereinafter described real property to the City of Anaheim
for the sum of One and no /100 ($1.00) Dollar; and
'7HEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Ana-
heim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of DAVID COLLINS and MARION
COLLINS, husband and wife, to sell to the City of
Anaheim the following described real property situated in the City
of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, and more partic-
ularly described as follows:
Parcel 1:
Beginning at the Southwest corner of Lot 25 of Anaheim
Extension as shown on a map of a survey made by William Hamel
in 1868 and filed for record in the Office of the County Re-
corder of Los Angeles, California; thence N 15 30 W a dis-
tance of 417.85 feet, more or less, along the West line of said
Lot 25, said West line also being the center line of Los Angeles
Street; thence N 74 30' E a distance of 30.0 feet to a point on
the Easterly property line of said Los Angeles Street, said point
being the true point of beginning; thence S 15° 30 E along the
East property line of said Los Angeles Street a distance of 296.17
feet, more or less, to a point; thence Easterly along a line
parallel to the South line of said Lot 25 a distance of 20.75
feet, more or less, to a point; thence N 15 30 W along a line
parallel to the West line of said Lot 25 a distance of 301.72
feet, more or less, to a point; thence S 74° 30 W a distance of
20 feet to the point of beginning.
Parcel 2:
Beginning at a point on the Northerly property line of
Ball Road (60 ft. wide). staid nn;ni- t 17n nn
re, and tree same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
city of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance
of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Treasurer of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owners of said real property, out of General Funds of the City of
Anaheim, the sum of One and no /100 ($1.00) Dollar.
