RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEr'TING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD PURPOSES.
WHtAEAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for
public purposes, to wit: An easement for Road Purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered to sell
said hereinafter described real property to the City of Anaheim
for the sum of One and no /100 ($1.00) Dollar; and
THEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Ana-
heim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of ALBERT. Z„ IIE. ERG,R and
ELLT HE.T RG R 1111S band and wife_,_, to sell to the City of
Anaheim the fol described real property situated in the City
of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, and more partic-
ularly described as follows:
An easement for road purposes over and across the North-
easterly 20 feet of the Southwesterly 50 feet of the follow-
ing described land:
That portion of the South half of the Southwest quarter
of the Northwest quarter and that portion of the Northwest
quarter of the Northwest quarter of the Southwest quarter of
Section 12, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, S.B.B. M.,
described as follows:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of Lot 5 of Tract No.
1843, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 53, page 46 of
Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California;
thence South along the West line of said Lot 5 and the
Southerly prolongation thereof to the center line of Anaheim
Olive Road, as shown on the map of said Tract No. 1843; thence
North 78 52' 26" West along said center line 124.67 feet to
the intersection with the Southerly prolongation of the East
line of Olana Way, as shown on the map of said Tract No. 1843;
thence North 0° 10' 50" East along said prolongation of the
East line of Olana Way and along the East line of said Olana
Way, 153.34 feet to an angle point therein, said angle point
being the intersection of said East line of Olana Way with
the South line of a 20 -foot alley, as shown on said Map; thence
North 89 51 35" East 122.42 feet to the point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
;'ity of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance
of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Treasurer of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owners of said real property, out of General Funds of the City of
Anaheim, the sum of One and no /100 ($1.00) Dollar.
