A RrSOLUTICN OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING TN MAYOR
AND THE CITY CLERK TO ENTER INTO AN AGREE-
MENT WITH THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA, DEPART-
MENT OF PUBLIC WORKS, DIVISION :1 HIGHWAYS,
FOR THE RELOCATION OF A SEWER LINE CROSSING
THE CENTER LINE OF CONSTRUCTION AT H.E.S.
326/12/ OF THE SANTA ANA FREEWAY.
WHEREAS, the State of California, Department of
Public Works, Division of Highways is constructing a freeway
in the County of Orange; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to relocate a sewer line
owned by the City of Anaheim located at or crossing the
center line of construction at H.E.S. 326/12/ in the City
of Anaheim, Orange County, California; and
WHEREAS, the State of California, Department of
Public Works, Division of Highways has offered to enter into
an agreement with the City of Anaheim whereby the State will
reimburse the City of Anaheim for the costs of relocating
said sewer line; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find that it is
necessary to relocate said sewer line and that said agreement
should be made and entered into with said State of California,
Department of Public Works, Division of Highways.
NOW, THEREFOR, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that that certain agreement dated
December 1953, to be made and entered into by and
between the State of California, Department of Public Works,
Division of Highways and the City of Anaheim, providinE; for
reimbursement to the City of Anaheim for relocation by the
City of said sewer line, at an estimated cost to the State
of ,;37,500.00, be and the same is hereby approved and the
Mayor and the City Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized
and directed to execute said agreement for and on behalf of
the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by
me this day of December, 1953.
