1953-2313A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM CHANGING THE JOB NUMBER OF THE
EAST VERMONT AVENUE FROM SOUTH FAST STREET
TO SOUTH OLIVE STREET IMPROVEMENT, FROM NUMBER
34Q TO NUMBER 501.
WHEREAS, on the 8th day of September, 1953 Resolution.
No. 2232 was duly passed and adopted by the City Couneil
awarding a contract to R.,J. Noble Company for the improve-
ment of East Vermont Avenue from South East Street to South
Olive Street by the removal of existing material, paving with
plant -mix, construction of plant -mix berms, construction
of storm drain system, clearing right -of -way, adjusting existing
manholes to grade, and appurtenant work, under Job No. 340; and
WHEREAS, the use of said Job No. 340 has created
confusion in the bookkeeping system of the City and will cause
further confusion if used -in connection with street improve-
ment of this character; and
WHEREAS, the City engineer has requested that said
project be given a new number, to -wit: 501, and the City
Council finds that it is.necessary and proper that the Job
number on said project be changed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that Job No. 340 used in connection
with the improvement of said East Vermont Avenue from South
East Street to South Olive Street hereinabove described be
changed to Job No. 501 and that hereafter said improvement
and project shall be carried upon the books of the City as
Job No. 501.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION was signed and approved
by me this 8th day of December, 1953.
