A RESOLUTION OF THE.CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE
ESTABLISHMENT OF FOUR-WAY BOULEVARD, STOP SIGNS
AT THE INTERSECTION OF CITRON AND WILHELMINA
STREETS.
WHEREAS, Section 465, Subdivision "3, of the
California Vehicle Code provides that local authorities
in their respective jurisdiction shall have authority to
place and maintain or cause to be placed and maintained,
such traffic signs as maybe necessary to indicate and to
carry out the provisions of the California Vehicle Code
and local traffic ordinances, or to regulate, warn or guide
traffic; and
WHEREAS, the Anaheim Municipal Code, Section
3213, provides that the City Council shall by resolution
determine and debignate the character of all official warn
ing and direction signs and signals; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that to eliminate
traffic hazards and promote the safety and welfare of
citizens and residents of the City of Anaheim, four-way
boulevard stop signs should be established and maintained
at the intersection of Citron and Wilhelmina Streets.
NOW, THEREFOR:, B. IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the Chief of Police be, and he
is hereby, authorized and directed to place and maintain four -way
stop signs at the intersection of Citron and Wilhelmina. Streets;
and
B IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the stop signs so es-
tablished and maintained shall conform to the regulations of
the California Vehicle Code as to size and design.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by
me this 8th day of December, 1953.

ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None.

approved and signed said resolution on the 8th day of December, 1953.
