1953-2280WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim owns and maintains that certain park known and designated as "La Palma Park; 11 and WHEREAS, the Anaheim Union High School District of Anaheim desires the use of said park for football games for a term of one year; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds that the use of said park by said Anaheim Union High School District will not conflict with the use of said park by any other organization nor the City of Anaheim, and that its use on the dates hereinafter mentioned by said. Anaheim Union High School District will be a public benefit to said Anaheim Union High School District and the citizens of Anaheim. N0i, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the Oity of Anaheim that the Anaheim Union High School District of Anaheim, California be, and it is hereby, authorized to use said park in the evenings, after 6:00 o'clock P.M., on the dates of September 25th, October 2nd, October 30th and November 13, 1953, for the regularly scheduled football games to be played by the Anaheim Union High School team with other schools on said dates, and upon the dates upon which football games in the Sunset League are regularly scheduled for the year 1953; provided, however, that the Anaheim Union High School District shall furnish to the Oity of Anaheim, prior to the commencement of the football season, a list of the dates upon which the games are scheduled for the year; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said Anaheim Union High School District shall pay, to the City of Anaheim the sum of X300.00 One Hundred Dollars) for each of said games on said dates to cover the use o. t stadium, cost of lights during said games, and the cost of labor for cleaning up the park premises after said games; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said Anaheim Union High School District shall obtain and maintain, at its own expense, public liability, property damage and compensation insurance in an amount adequate to protect and save harmless the City of Anaheim of and from all damages, claims for damages, actions, causes of action, both in law and in equity, that may arise out of the use of said park by said Anaheim Union High School Dis— trict.
