1953-2275WHEREAS, the City Council finds that there is an ever present hazard and danger of flood damage to the City of Anaheim from the Carbon Canyon Water Shed; and WHEREAS, the Council does find that it is neces- sary that a Committee be established to handle flood control matters and to work with the flood control officials of Orange County, California and to endeavor to obtain County assistance in the control and prevention of floods and flood damages to the City of Anaheim. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that there be, and there is hereby, established a Committee to be known and designated as the Anaheim Flood Control Committee, to be composed of such members as the Council may from time to time designate aid appoint, which appointments may be made by motion duly made and carried at any regular meeting of the City Council; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that A. J. Schutte be, and he is hereby, appointed Chairman of said Flood Control Com- mittee.
