RESOLUTION NO. 2273
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPOINTING COUNCILMAN L. N. WISSER
AS AN ALTERNATE MEMBER OF THE BOARD OF DIR-
ECTORS OF COUNTY SANITATION DISTRICT NO. 2
AND AS AN ALTERNATE TyiEYBER OF THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF COUNTY SANITATION DISTRICT NO. 3.
WHEREAS, Section,4730 of the Health and Safety Code of
the State of California provides that the governing body of
each city within the County Sanitation District shall select
one of its members other than its presiding officer as an
alternate director to act as a member of such sanitation dis-
trict or districts, and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is situated partly within
County Sanitation District No. 2 and partly within County San-
itation District No. 3, and
WHEREAS, the Mayor is the regular member upon the
boards of said County Sanitation Districts, as provided by law,
and
WHEREAS Robert H. Boney, the alternate member heretofore
named by the City Council as a member of the Boards of Directors
of said Sanitation Districts, has resigned from the City Council
of the City of Anaheim and it is therefore necessary to name
another alternate member to serve upon the Board of Directors
of County Sanitation District No. 2 and County Sanitation Dis-
trict No. 3.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that L. N. Wisser be, and he is hereby
selected and appointed as an alternate director upon the Board.
of Directors of County Sanitation District No. 2 and County
Sanitation District No. 3, to represent the City of Anaheim,
and that said appointment shall take effect immediately,
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and
he is hereby directed to certify and deliver a copy of this
Resolution to the Secretary of County Sanitation District No.
2 and one to the Secretary of County Sanitation District No. 3.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by me
this 24th day of November, 1953.
