RESOLUTION NO. 3162

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ESTABLISHING THE LOCATIONS FOR
PARKING METERS, PURSUANT TO ARTICLE III,
CHAPTER 3 OF THE ANAHEI~ MUNICIPAL CODE: AND
AUTHORIZING THE OPERATION OF SUCH METERS.
WHEREAS, the City Couno~l of the City of Anaheim
duly adopted the Anaheim Municipal Code on JUly 22, 1952, and
Article III, Chapter 3 thereof defining and establishing
Parking Meter Zones, providing for the installation, use and
control of parking meters relating to traffic and regulating
use of public streets, and providing for enforoement and
penalties for violation thereof; and
WHEREAS, the Ordinanoe adopting said Anaheim Munioi-
pal Code having been duly published, as required by law on the
24th day of July, 1952, and said Ordinance having taken effect
on the 22nd day of August, 1952, and said Anaheim Munioipal Code
having become effeotive on said date; and
WHEREAS, said Anaheim Municipal Code provides that
said parking meters shall be installed by the City Engineer in
such locations as the City Council of the City of Anaheim shall,
by resolution, from time to time determine and order, within
the zones established by said Chapter 3 of said Anaheim Munioipal
Code.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ~SOLVED by the City Counoil
of the City of Anaheim that the City Engineer of the City of
Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized and direoted to in-
stall parking meters at the following locations:
In the 100 and 200 Blocks of South Claudina
Street, both sides of the street;
In the 100 Block of South Helena, both sides
of the street;
In the 100 Block of North Helena, both sides
of the street between the alley and Center
street;
In the 400 Block of West Center Street, both
sides of the street.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that operation of the parking
meters at the above looations shall c~mmenoe immediately after
the installation thereof, under Artiole III, Chapter 3 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code as amended.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by
me this 28th day of February, 1956.
