1953-2257WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is desirous of pur-
chasing the hereinafter described real property for public purposes, to wit:
An easement for street widening purposes; and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered to sell said herein-
after described real property to the City of Anaheim for the sum of One and no /100
($1.00) Dollar; and.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds that it is for
the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim to accept said offer and
purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim that the offer of OSCAR E. MANG and MAGDALFNE M. MANG, husband and wife,
to sell to the City of Anaheim, the following described real property situated
in the City of•Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, and more particu-
larly described as follows:
A parcel of land 5.25.feet in width, said parcel being a portion
ofLot 8, Anaheim Extension, as shown on a. map made by William
Hamel in 1868 and filed in the Office of the County Recorder of
Los Angeles County, California, and more particularly described
as follows:
Beginning at a point on the Northerly property line of East Santa
Ana Street, said point being 475 feet East of the Easterly property
line of South East Street, said Easterly line of South East Street,
also being the Westerly line of lot 8 of the Anaheim Extension;
thence continuing Easterly along the North property line of said
East Santa Ana Street 264.0 feet to a point; thence Northerly at
right angles to the North line of said East Santa Ana Street 5.25
feet to a point; thence Westerly along a line parallel to the North
line of said East Santa Ana Street a distance of 264.0 feet to a
point; thence Southerly a distance of 5.25 feet to the North prop-
erty line of said East Santa Ana Street and the point of beginning.
bei and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City of Anaheim,
and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Treasurer of the City of Anaheim
be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owners of said real property, out
of General Funds of the City of Anaheim, the sum of One and no /100 ($1.00) Dollar.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION was approved and signed by me this 13th day
of October, 1953.
