A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT A
CHANGE OF ZONE IS NECESSARY IN CERTAIN AREAS
OF THE CITY AND THAT ORDINANCE NO, 774 SHOULD
BE AMENDED TO ACCOMPLISH SAID CHANGE OF ZONE.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did heretofore duly pass and adopt a resolution declar-
ing its intention to change the boundaries of the zone herein-
after mentioned and described and did fix a time and place for
the holding of public hearings thereon in the manner and as pre-
scribed in Ordinanoe N 774 of the City of Anaheim, and did
duly hold and conduct two public hearings to oonsider such pro-
posed change of zone and did receive evidence and reports from
persons interested therein; and
WHEREAS, within a period of forty (40) days following
the final hearing thereon, the Planning Commission did duly an-
nounce by formal resolution its findings of facts and declare
its opinions and reasons for recommending an amendment to said
Ordinance to effect the proposed changes of the boundaries of the
zone hereinafter mentioned and described; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of the report and recommendation
of the City Planning Commission, the City Council did thereupon
fix the 8th day of July, 1952, as the time and the Council
Chambers in the City Hall of the City of Anaheim as the place for
a public hearing upon said proposed ohange of zone and did give
notice thereof in the manner and as provided in said Ordinance No.
774; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such public
hearing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity
to be heard, and did receive evidence and reports and did there-
upon consider the recommendations of the City Planning Commission;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
the property and area proposed to be changed from an R-A,
RESIDENTIAL AGRICULTURAL ZONE, to an R -3, MULTIPLE FAMILY RESI-
DENTIAL ZONE, is more suitable for zoning as follows:
That the area starting at a point approximately
380.8 feet west of the center line of North Palm
Street and 334.60 feet from the property line on
West Romneya Drive; thence Westerly a distance of
94 feet; thence Northerly a distance of 75 feet;
thence Westerly a distance of 706.94 feet; thence
Southerly a distance of 619 feet; thence Easterly
a distance of 106 feet; thence Northerly a dis-
tance 418 feet; thence Easterly a distance of
approximately 706.94 feet; thence Northerly a
distance of 126 feet to the point of beginning
is more suitable for an R -2, TWO- FAMILY RESIDENTIAL
ZONE;
That the area to the south of a line drawn westerly
from the rear of the south lots on West Julianna

Street to the west city limits, is more
suitable for an R -A, RESIDENTIAL- AGRICULTURAL
ZONE: and
That the balance of the area is more suitable
for an R -3, MULTIPLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE,
and that the inclusion of said property and area in the zones
as above outlined will increase the value of said property and
area and will not depreciate the value of properties in ad-
joining zones;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that all of the property and area situated
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
described as follows, be changed from an R -A, RESIDENTIAL
AGRICULTURAL ZONE to the zones as set forth in the description
below:
rescinded.

The area to the south of a line drawn westerly
from the rear of the south lots on West Julianna
Street to the west city limits, be zoned R -A,
RESIDENTIAL AGRICULTURAL ZONE; and
The balance of the area be zoned as R -3,
MULTIPLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be and
he is hereby authorized and directed to prepare and submit to
the City Council an amendment to Ordinance No. 774 to amend
said Ordinance to accomplish the object herein found and de-
termined to be necessary and proper.
