A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCENTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION, OPERA-
TION AND MAINTENANCE OF PUBLIC UTILITIES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter aescribed real property for
public purposes, to wit: An easement for the construction, opera-
tion and r aintenance of Public utilities and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered to sell
said hereinafter described real property to the City of Anaheim
for the sum of One and no /100 ($1.00) Dollar; and
JHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Ana-
heim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of DONALD O. REES and ELIZABETH
F. REES, husband and wife, to sell to the City of
Anaheim the following described real property situated in the City
of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, and more partic-
ularly described as follows:
An easement for the construction, operation and
maintenance of public utilities over, under and
across the easterly three (3) feet of Lot 9,
Tract No. 1420, as shown on a map thereof, filed
in Book 48, Page 4, Records of Orange County.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance
of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Treasurer of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owners of said real property, out of General Funds of the City of
Anaheim, the sum of One and no /100 ($1.00) Dollar.
