1953-2178RESOLUTION NO. 2178 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT CERTAIN CHARGES FOR PUBLIC SERVICES RENDERED BY THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ARE DELINQUENT AND DECLARING THEM TO BE LIENS UP- ON REAL PROPERTY OWNED BY THE PERSON OR PER- SONS TO WHOM SUCH SERVICES WERE RENDERED AND PROVIDING FOR THE COLLECTION THEREOF AT THE SAME TIME AND IN THE SAME MANNER AS ALL TAXES ON REAL PROPERTY IN THE CITY AND AUTHORIZING THE COUNTY AUDITOR TO PLACE SUCH CHARGES UPON THE TAX ROLLS AND TO COLLECT THE SAME WITH THE TAXES UPON SAID PROPERTY. S ao WHEREAS, Section 7400.15 of the Anaheim Municipal Code provides that each applicant for public services to be rendered by the City of Anaheim shall be required to pay the constituted rates for electric, water, sewer or sanitation services or sewage treatment charges and be governed by the rules and regulations of the Public Service Department adopted by the City Council and further provides that if the applicant be the owner of real prop- erty and if the bill for such rates is not paid in accordance with the provisions of said Code, that the amount of the bill shall become a lien upon said property and be collected at the same time and in the same manner as all taxes on real property in the City of Anaheim; and WHEREAS, said Section 7400.15 of the Anaheim Municipal Code does further provide that on or before the 1st day of July of each year, the City Council shall adopt a resolution finding and determining that such charges for public services are delin- quent and declaring them to be a lien upon the respective parcels of property listed and on or before the let day of July of each year, the City Clerk shall file with the County Auditor of the County of Orange, a certified copy of said resolution and said charges shall be placed upon the tax rolls against the respective parcels of real property; and WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that the following named persons, firms or corporations are the owners of the real property set opposite their names and that the Code number following such description is the County Assessor's Code number and that the charges set out following the name of the owner and the description of the property are the charges for public services rendered by the City of Anaheim and have not been paid in accordance with the provisions of the Anaheim Municipal Code and are delinquent and have become a lien and are declared to be a lien upon the property of said owner or owners; that the names of such owners, the description of the real property owned by such owner or owners, the Assessor's Code number and the amount of the charges due from each of said owners which are delinquent and have become a lien as aforesaid are as follows: Winckler -Smith Citrus Products Co. 408 South Atchison Street All that certain property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows, to wit: -1- (S EAL) rat 3 STATE OF CALIFORNIA COUNTY OF ORANGE ss.
