A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIH ACCEPTING 'l'HE GRANT FROH SOUTHERN
PACIFIC COMPANY OF A RIGHT TO CONSTRUCT, RE-
CONSTRUCT, MAINTAIN AND USE A SEWER LINE IN
AND ALONG PROPEHTY OF THE GRANTOR; AND AUTHOR-
IZING T'HE EXEUCTION OF AN INDENTURE COVERING
THE CONSTRUCTION, USE AND MAINTENANCE OF SAID
SKwER LINE.
WHEREAS, the Southern Pacific Company, a corpora-
tion of the State of Delaware, has tendered to the City of
Anaheim an indenture grantinG to the City of Anaheim, sub-
ject to the reservations, covenants and conditions therein
contained, the right to construct, reconstruct, maintain
and use a sewer line in and along that portion of Section
6, Township ~- South, Ranze 10 West, S.B.B. & M., in Rancho
San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, Orange County, California,
described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point in the southwesterly line
of the lao-root strip of land described in deed
to Western Development Company, reoorded in
Book 44, page 496 of Deeds, in the office of
the County Recorder of Los Angeles County,
California, distant along said southwesterly
line, S. 5r 10' 35" E., 118.51 feet from the
intersection thereof with the west line of
said Section 6; thence N. 620 12' 43" E., 80.34
feet to the southwesterly line of a paroel of
land described in Final Order of Condemnation,
Case No. 32821 of the Superior Court of the
Sta te of California, in and for said Orange
County, a certified copy of which Final Order
is reoorded in Book 847, page 36 of Offioial
Records, in the office of the County Reoorder
of said Opange County; thence along last said
southwesterly line N. 5r 10' 35" IN., 5.74 feet
to a line parallel with and distant Northwesterly
5.00 fei't measured at right angles, from the
above-mentioned Course having a bearing N.
620 121 43" E.; thence along said parallel line,
S. 620 12' 43" W., 78.17 feet to a line parallel
with and distant Eas0erly 96.00 feet, measured
at right angles, from the west line of said
Section 6; thence along last said parallel line,
S. 00 38' 50" E., 2.26 feet to said southwest-
erly line of the 100-foot strip of land; thence
along said southHesterly line, S. 570 101 35" E.,
3.43 feet to the point of beginning.

AND WHEHEAS, said grantor has tendered to the
City of Anaheim the indenture above mentioned to be executed
by said Southern Pacific Company and the City of Anaheim,
which indenture the City Counoil finds would be for the
benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim and should
be approved.
NOW, THE~EFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Counoil
of the City of Anaheim that the indenture tendered to the
City of Anaheim by Southern Pacific Company, a corporation of
the State of Delaware, granting to the City, but subject to
the reservations, covenants and conditions therein contained,
the right to construct, reconstruct, maintain and use a sewer
line in and along the real property hereinabove mentioned and
described, be, and the same is hereby, approved and accepted;
and
BE IT FU"I'H2E H;:;;SOLVED that the Hayor and the City
Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized to execute said
indenture for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
