A RESOLUTION Of" THE eI'I'Y COUNCIL 01,1 THE CITY
OF' At'IJA::IEIIJI AU'P!ORIZING mE PURCHASE; OF' CAST
IRON WA'rER PIPE F'OE THE WATER DEPAHTNENT;
APPROVING THE SPECIFIChTIONS THEREOF; AND
AUTEOmZING THE EXEC':rTION OF AN AGREEMENT TO
B~i HADE AND ENTERED INTO \ITTH PACIFIC STATES
CAST IRON PIPE CO.
WHER2.AS, the City Council does find and determine
that public convenience and necessi ty require the purchase
and acquisition of cast iron pipe for use by the Water
Department of the City of Anaheim in the amounts hereinafter
specif led; and
l,.J]IEiU!,AS, the City Council does further find that
the specifications prepared by the Superintendent of the
Light, Power and Water Department for said pipe are adequate
for the pl,'rpose and should be a:J~'roved; and
WHEREAS, Pacific States Cast Iron Pipe Co. has of-
fered to furnish said cast iron pipe in accordance with and
conf'orminr: to the specifications {Jrepared by the Superintendent
of the Lie:ht, Power and '.'later Department, in the sizes, lengths
and quanti ties hereinafter set forth for t he sum of $63,045.20,

helm of ~7,481.30, or a total prlce of ~70,526.50; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find that said price

pipe and that said offer of Pacific States Cast Iron Pipe Co.

mi tted by said Pacific States Cast Iron Pipe Co." for the
furnisnin:; of said cast iron pipe conforming to the specifica-
tions hereinabove set forth.

Iron Pipe Co. be, and the same is hereby, accepted. for delivery
of said cast iron pipe 2.0.3. mill, with ~reight allowanoe to
An~1-J.eim, at the above prices for all deliveries made prior to
June 30, 1956, and that deliveries will be made as required
by the City of Anaheim.
