A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM ESTABLISHING THE LOCATION FOR PARKING
METERS, PURSUANT TO ARTICLE III, CHAPTER 3 OF
THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE, AND FIXING THE TIME
FOR THE COMMENCEMENT OF THE OPERATION OF SUCH
METERS.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
duly adopted the Anaheim Munioipal Code on JUly 22, 1952, and
Article III, Chapter 3 thereof defining and establishing
Parking Meter Zones, providing for the installation, use and
oontrol of parking meters relating to traffic and regulating
use of public stree.ts, and providing for enforcement and
penalties for violation thereof; and
WHEREAS, the Ordinance adopting said Anaheim Munici-
pal Code having been duly pUblished, as required, by law on the
24th day of July, 1952, and said Ordinance having taken effect
on the 22nd day of August, 1952, and said Anaheim Municipal Code
having become effective on said date; and
WHEREAS, said Anaheim Municipal Code provides that
said parking meters shall be installed by the City Engineer
in such looations as the City Council of the City of Anaheim
shall. by resolution, from time to time determine and order,
within the zones established by said Chapter 3 of said Anaheim
Municipal Code.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the City Engineer of the City of
Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized and direoted to in-
stall parking meters at the following locations:
In the 100 block on WEST CHARTRES STREET __
on both sides of the street; and
In the 200 block on NORTH LOS ANGELES STREET __
on both sides of the street.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that 8&00 0' clook A. M.
on the 1st day of Karch , 1956, is hereby fIieC! as
the time for the official commencement of parking meter oper-
ations in the 100 block on West Chartres street, and ~
0' olock A. M. on the let day of ~ch , 1956;---for
the offiCIaI commencement of parking me er operations in the
200 block on North Los Angeles Street, under Artiole III,
Chapter 3 of the Anaheim Municipal Code as amended.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by
me this 14th day of February, 1956.
